SAVE OUR

SAVIOURS

At the beginning of the COVID outbreak, health care providers were shown more support, solidarity, and gratitude than ever before. Yet, on the other side as time passed by attacks on health care have been increasingly reported.
This unprecedented public health emergency is largely being ignored by almost everyone. During this pandemic health facilities and medical professionals have become the target for public anger everywhere. Why so? This alarming trend reinforces the need for improved measures to protect doctors, nurses, and other staff members from acts of violence. Protecting our frontline warriors from physical and mental abuse is of utmost importance. Mistakes may happen and there may be some bad apples in healthcare setting too. That doesn’t mean we should punish the entire health system. We need to look deeper into THE REASONS FOR THE FLAWS IN THE CURRENT HEALTH CARE SYSTEM and CONSTRUCTIVELY WORK FOR ITS BETTERMENT.
In this context, Dr Kiran Dintyala has initiated an awareness programme ‘SAVE OUR SAVIOURS – A panel discussion on How to Prevent Attacks on Hospitals, Doctors, and Staff’.
This program is aimed to fill the gap in understanding between general public and Health Professionals.
